TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Deposit & Payment Policy: To secure your photography appointment, a security deposit will be required. Deposits are non-refundable unless the appointment is cancelled by Shaunice Louise McFadden. Deposits will be deducted from the final payment. Final payments are DUE at the end of your scheduled appointment through cash, cash app, Venmo, or card. You will receive an Invoice of the final payment up to the scheduled session to show how much is due. You will not receive watermarked pictures or final edits until the booked session is completely paid for.

  2. Late/Cancellation Policy: A $25 late fee will be applied to your final invoice if you are more than 15 min. late. No additional time will be added to lateness. If you are booked for an hour shoot and you arrive 30 min late, then you will have 30 min left of shooting unless by purchase of an additional hour. Depending on the session duration, your appointment is subject to cancellation after 35 min of lateness. Every session is subject to cancellation at the discretion of the photographer and a fee will not be applied to the final invoice if cancelled by the photographer. We understand that things come up last minute, so please communicate your circumstances for potential accommodations. If you cancel your session less than a week of the session up until the day before you will be charge 50% of the session/event. If you cancel the day before you will be charged 75% of the session/event. If you cancel the day of you will be charged 100% of the session/event. Please communicate and respect your and my time. 

  3. Rescheduling Policies: If your date/time needs to be changed once you have booked your session, you can reschedule by contacting shaunicelouisellc@gmail.com. If you are rescheduling 48 hours in advance, you can reschedule without a fee applied to your invoice. If you have to reschedule and then cancel, you will be charged the full amount of the session/event. If you have to reschedule again, you forfeit your deposit and must pay the booking deposit again with a new date. If you reschedule less than 48 hours in advance, then a $75 fee will be applied to your invoice. Your rescheduled appointment is active after receiving a new confirmation email.

  4. Weather Cancellations: Please check the weather before booking your session to avoid rescheduling. You will receive an email to let you know your session needs to be rescheduled or cancelled. The photographer has the final decision on whether the session needs to be rescheduled due to weather conditions. If your session is cancelled due to weather, you will receive an email with a list of dates that the photographer is available to reschedule your session. The deposit is still non-refundable, but a rescheduling fee will not be added to your final invoice because of the weather.

  5. Travel Policy: Appointments outside of the Jacksonville, FL area will be subject to a travel fee. The travel fee varies based on the location and the needs of the shoot.

  6. Refund Policy: There will be no refunds. We can discuss options to solve your dilemma. 

  7. Turn Around Time: You will receive watermark-edited photos from the photographer within 2 weeks, which will be shared on a personalised gallery. After you have selected the photos you like, you will receive the photos in the gallery without the watermark. If you are in a rush to receive photos less than the turnaround time, then we will discuss your options, and a fee will be applied depending on the project demand.

  8. Consent and Release: By booking Shaunice Louise LLC DBA Smile Now Photography, you agree that the SLLLC may record your participation, appearance, likeness, and voice on any digital, analogue, or other device or storage medium, including DVD, CD, videotape, audiotape, or photograph (the “Materials”).  You waive any right to be paid for use of the Materials or to object to the use of the Materials for publishing, printing, displaying, exhibiting, distributing, or otherwise publicly using the Materials.  Shaunice Louise LLC DBA Smile Now Photography reserves all copyrights in all images unless you, the client, have purchased these rights based on what was ordered. Shaunice Louise, LLC may edit, crop, retouch or otherwise alter the Materials to produce content.
